Colin #Cowherd just asked Jay #Paterno why didn't his father fire Jerry #Sandusky in 2001. Pretty hard to fire an already retired coach.

It is mindboggling that Cowherd & the general public would rather condemn an honest man than admit they were wrong and misled by a faulty report.

People have such a personal emotional investment in seeing Joe Paterno crucified because they jumped on that bandwagon last year. Personal Ego and anger are tied to being right and righteous. Unselfishness is required for honest re-assessment and forgiveness. This is the biggest barrier; not evidence or logic.

Thank goodness finally he will be on with someone who isn't a complete gas bag!! I am looking forward to this interview more than the other two. SVP and Ryan will at least shut up and let him answer.

ESPN has a huge horse in this race. I'm positive all of the ass bags got their memos this morning to back up the original false narrative. ESPN was first and foremost in promoting the false narrative. They've got a lot to lose if they're wrong.

So far, every single gas bag has gotten extremely righteous and nasty after Jay has left their studio. Cowterd and Stephen Ass mith are the worst two that I've had the unpleasant opportunity to watch.

I didn't see the Mike & Mike show so I don't know how they reacted after Jay left the studio.
