The Lions' Pride

I don't understand why you are trying to compare this kid to Paul Harris they are two different types of receivers. Paul Harris is a tall rangy 6'4" possession receiver and this kid is like 5'10" he'll probably play a slot role. I like Lemelle and Boyd better than him in that role FYI.

The film on this guy surprised me a bit. I have to say, after extensively watching this guy on tape...I am surprised it took us this long to get him to visit.

Here are a couple observations I had from this youtube highlight reel:

He has really nice arms. The kind of arms you see on a Lord & Taylor mannequin. .

He definitely has a face for football. He has a long chiseled forehead, and high pigskin cheeks.
And I like how his nose is thin and pointy, it will definitely help him see the football better.

I don't know if anybody else got the chance to see this, but was anybody able to see how his cuticles looked?
I base a lot of my scouting skills on a recruit's cuticle care. Some schools seem to like nice clean cuticles, but
I look for them to have a bit of ripped skin, peppered with some wet blood. Just a preference I have.
It was the first think I noticed with Wes Welker, and I just knew that would translate to the football field.

I am not too impressed with his running style. He runs like he took something without paying
I think if he can wait and pay first, then he will improve his route running .

His uniform was clean and tightly pressed. I am not sure if those were Gucci socks, but I am not going to knock him
if their not. It looks like he dressed for success.

Obviously we can't tell everything by just the videos, so hopefully we can get him in for a visit and find out if
he watches Breaking Bad or Desperate Housewives. If he watches Breaking Bad, we know he is going to go over the middle. If he watches Desperate Housewives, we know he is not going to go over the middle. If he watches both. he may go over the middle, but he will probably stop to look at his cuticles.. so we definitely do not want that.

My final thoughts on this recruit: He looks ok, but our number one target is Foster.. and we all know Foster watches Breaking Bad
