um no, although amos is better fit for safety, the more immediate team name is at cb. I'm very high on davis, but the team has to hide potential weaknesses by playing him too far off the receiver. Whereas, Amos is able to play in the face of the receiver. Willis has been ok at safety and Obeng looked a lot better and more active versus virginia. I would be more incline having davis as a rotational db, then starting him at cb right now.

I just don't see what you all see in Davis. He isn't ready yet. He may become a good CB but he isn't ready to be out there full time yet. Some reps, OK, but he'll get exposed if you know he's out there. Do you guys really think that the coaches don't play him because of any other reason other than 'he's not ready'.
The fact that he gets reps speaks to his ability (in a thin group), so I am not putting the kid down. Just saying to be patient.

The secondary is the obvious weak link on the defense. I don't think the corner play has been that bad. The tackling has been very solid out of the corners and I'd argue Amos is one of the best tacklers on the team. I so much rather see Morris/Davis/Amos/Willis than Fagnano back there.

Is it time to move Amos to safety
