If you had the opportunity to ask one former PSU football recruiting target that chose to go to another school (most likely one that you thought PSU was going to get) ... who would it be and what question would you ask?

Noah, Penn State has the best coach in the country at your position-and you knew he was staying. Penn State has the best program in the country for your desired major. The best stadium/fans in the country are a stone's throw from your family. Blue is a much better color than red. So, why?

I don't think you have that story correct.
I can tell you one thing though that I know is 100% accurate. Henne's father and mine were friends at work... my father asked why not PSU (as he knows that the Henne's are HUGE PSU fans) and he said "Paterno's kid is an idiot".
That is really all you need to know about the situation.

O'Connor didn't outwardly profess his love and dedication to the university. He didn't make people care about what he offered outside of football.

LOL.
My father and Henne's both worked at Dana in Reading. They went to several PSU games together and I tagged along for one as well. They were pretty good friends back in the day, but the plant closed up and everyone went there separate ways.
I think the last time they saw each other was about a week before Henne was drafted. My dad told me to watch for Miami and sure enough, that's where he went.
