    Are you HamiltonLion in disguise? Or are you stalking me? My opinion of one poster really is none of your biz...and it was posted on, as you say, MY BOARD... so practice what you preach.

    Your opinion was about PSU fans in general when you said "he's a typical PSU'er." Your opinion is everyone's business or you wouldn't have posted it. I don't care what you say on your board, but don't come over here and try to play nice afterwards when you've already expressed your true feelings about our fan base.

    Nothing to show for it? Maybe, but then again it will earn the division title, a ring for the players, and a pretty good boost in recruiting, as it sets up a great outlook for next year.

    so I'll take 12-0 or 11-1 and not be sad about it.

    Wait, do you guys really give rings for conference divisional championships? That's pathetic. And it would be pathetic if we did that. Rings are for conference champions. Come on people, can we stop making up little trophies for everything please.

    I absolutely can't stand a chunk of your fanbase, imagine you have the same feelings about ours....As I've said, there are some quality posters over here and then you have the same small group of tools....and the post on my board was to another poster that got banned over here for discussing things until Hamilton jumped in and cried like a girl to get him banned...

    I guess the "Fight or Flee" trigger went off, and he chose to flee....

    I've never met an OSU fan I didn't like. But on the internet, yes, I can't stand a good chunk of them. I've never made the generalization that a "typical OSU fan" is so terrible though. Internet fans aren't typical. And if I couldn't stand a group of people, I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to interact with them and act nice.

    If you guys would've won the division this year, would you really have had a problem with sending your senior class out with a "trinket" as a thank you for staying and playing for nothing? I don't think you'd have a problem with that, and nobody else on here would think it was lame to give Mauti a division champ ring going out...

    It was designated on the field where teams win or lose. Claiming a co-championship with a team you lost to head to head is like being the worlds tallest midget.

    Yes. I think we give way too much shit out. They can have the trophy for the division, fine. But rings are for conference champs, not "maybe they could have been" champs.

    I understand you...But you will NEVER find any thread I've ever started over here just to flame....I've started good threads and I've commented on a lot of good threads....then as soon as a few start their crap, I come back at them.

    You can call me what you want, but I always go to opposing boards in good faith. Oddly, this is the only board I ever end up in arguments. And it's usually a drastic change from the original topic brought on by a HamiltonLion type or one of the other few.. Kind of like this thread....I post about the #1 team and within the 1st page it turns into a trash OSU thread. But that's my fault, I get it.

You're publicly asking to get bitched at by then coming to that board, regardless of your intentions. Think about it.

I don't look at it as "Little League" where everyone gets a trophy, I see it as a group of guys that are punished for previous players/coaches sins (Like your guys are also) giving their all, winning either all or all but one of their games when they had nothing to play for getting a thank you for being a Buckeye.

    You are correct, I don't "Know" you, how could I? I am guessing you are Old School, probably 10 years (ish) older than me, played the game, would rather see mud on the jersey than rubber pellets, not a fan of all the uniform changes, would rather see a good 14-10 game than a 63-59 one,.... Am I in the neighborhood or way off?

    Way off. Early/Mid 20's, played on turf and loved it, names on jerseys don't bother me, neither do the uniforms. Coached, inlcuding a FNL camp with your boy Urban, and played up until a couple of years ago when I decided to go to grad school instead of into coaching.

    Call it whatever you want. You don't think it is little league but getting rings for trying real hard and not winning a conference championship sounds real...huh what's the term?
