Just an FYI, I'm a Philly fan and will always be a Philly fan. Philly absolutely is not a bandwagon fanbase. When the Eagles suck, they don't start rooting for the hot team. They simple show their disgust by turning on their team. I mean, why the hell should we show up to Eagles games when they have 5+ turnovers a game and play terrible defense? I would even say that if you are dumb enough to continue to support that circus, you are a bad fan.

I work the Philly area and bandwagon is what the whole town is. If team is doing great they all love them as soon as they look bad they lose all support. Listen to 610 or any of the other stations.

I've been to far more than that, and Philly is nowhere near the bottom...aesthetically or socially. It's not the best either by any stretch. If you want a real sh!thole, go to New Jersey. The surrounding area has far better examples.

I upvoted you Diddy. My dad lived in Chester and Coatesville when I was young. I got the hell beat out of me in Coatesville when I was 12. Three cops got killed in Philly the summer of 2008. Maybe that's a low number but I didn't think it was right for the mayor to be on sports radio begging for drug dealers to stop killing cops. Hate my yanks as much as you want and I totally understand but Sillies fans are @ssclowns!!!

I'd be curious to see how much Heinz would draw w a 4-9 team, on a Thursday night, against the Rams. Throw in a lot of other teams in that scenario. It doesn't mean that every fan base is weak, but it's currently tough to sit thru the pathetic filth that is the Eagles franchise. 60 mins once/wk is far too often. It just needs to end.

I would hope that it would draw terribly. As I said, there is nothing worse than bad NFL teams getting financial support from fans when they stink. It just doesn't make sense and I will never understand it. This isn't college, where supporting the team means something significant. The NFL is for entertainment purposes only. Entertain me or I'm not going to support you.

do yourself a favor and separate yourself from WIP forever. Its old, stale, and now nothing more than a parody of its former self. The morning show is the worst, and Angelo Cataldi has turned himself into some sort of character instead of a commentator. If he isnt praising goofballs like the dirty thirty, he is promiting another stunt for Wing Bowl.
I made the switch to 97.5 a while ago and have never been happier. A much better collection of hosts overall. I still take issue with a few, but overall 97.5 is much better.
