These are definitely not the brightest days for The University, faculty, students, alumni and fans. It is sad that the actions of a few have brought so much down on the many. Who knows the whole truth about the atrocities that were allowed to happen at a place many of us have called home for some point in our lives. My heart pours out to what those kids had to go through and their families had to endure for so long. While I feel sadness today I hope that this is a lesson learned by everyone about doing. It is often said "all evil needs to do to triumph is for good men to do nothing". Maybe this will add some more closure to the victims in some way or form. It seems that what has been imposed upon Penn State may be more than what we had hoped. However this also a point at which we need to use to start to heal as well. Nothing can undo what has happened; not flooding of detrimental media, not sanctions and not silence. I will also, stay and stand for all that my alma mater truly means. God Bless the victims and their familes. And ask for guidance for the my brethern at Penn State who will stand in this wake of disarray and create a new start.

I've seen a lot of posters talk today about leaving the 247 community, wanting refunds for their season tickets, not watching any more college football, and not wanting anything to do with Penn State University.
I am here to tell you I am staying! It was truly a dark day today for Penn State, but the actions of our head coach, students athletes, alumni association, and some of our 2013 recruits really made me proud to be a Penn State grad.
I am not going to turn my back on this great community 247 has set up for us. Quite to the contrary, I want to volunteer my help to this board in any way I can. Sean, Cory, Matt, etc., please let me know anything I can do to help US get through this tough time. I write for one of the nations largest sports blogs(SB nation), and I also coach football in CT. Although my knowledge may not be as great as the previously mentioned contributors to this board, and although I am new, I will gladly volunteer any time I have to help restore the roar to the greatest Penn State site on the Web.
I hope others will stick by our great University, and this great site, as we endure what could be the darkest time in the history of Penn State.
