Which coach would you keep on the staff. I figure with a future switch at head coach what if any assistant would you keep. Lj and bandy are my finalist with vandy being my choice

dito, not even close with the other coaches. Not that I wouldn't mind keeping vandy or even big red in a different role I just really like and respect LJ.

In my opinion LJ is over-rated. He has recruited well, but at same time has also recruited some guys who have had characters issues.
Plus, don't think he has the knowledge of Vandy and Bradley. He is 60+ years old so would not hire him as d-coordinator.

I love lj but I looked at how many years left coaching they have in them.lj has other aspirations and figure he will be out of college football within 3 years

Just out of curiosity does anyone remember what kind of defense Vandy ran at Northwestern and Maryland? Was it blitz oriented, man to man, zone? I like vanderlinden and his experience I'm just not sure what is coaching philosophy is if he get to call the shots.

I've been in clinics with LJ and Vandy and I would disagree. LJ is right there.

I would take McQueary. I would love to see what he could so away from the current hieracrchy.

This is a tough call. I'm torn between Big Red, Vandy and LJ Sr. I would ultimately have to go with Big Red. He shows great passion out there and has the make for a great QB coach, IMO.

Even though he will not stay with a change in leadership, Bradley is the one I would like to see stay. Talk about loyalty, integrity, and knowledge!!! I feel his hands are being tied right now and would love to see how he would perform with some fresh air and ideas.
...and if you're not down with that, then I got 2 words for ya.."suck it!!"

LJ has had the most first round picks of the coaches but he takes a lot of chances and Maybin was his last good end....
Vandy has done well buy we have not had that unreal talent at LB
Love Red's passion but is he a good coach ?

I think LJ, Vanderlinden, Bradley, McQueary, Buggs, and Kenney are all good coaches and/or recruiters. I wouldn't mind keeping any of them.

LJ, Scrap, or Vandy. Pick one and run with it. My real hope is the next HC keeps the defensive staff around and blows up the offensive staff. Anyone that played or coached offense under Joe should be gone. I want a new HC with a new OC that runs the show and is responsible for the offense. Keep the defensive coaches for some stability and bring in someone who is willing to attack defenses. You may have to encourage them to be a bit more aggressive at times on D, but I don't think their track record is one to just throw away.
