  • Eh..I don't have as much hate for Michigan anymore. They have been one of the more mature and sensible fan bases since the Sandusky events. Plus, they also hate OSU more than we do. I will hate them when we play them again, but will be rooting for them to go on a streak of demolishing Urban Meyer and OSU.

  • I always loved the "Michigan still sucks" chants, but I never held any animosity towards them. I just loved that you could scream it on campus and someone always finished it. I don't hate OSU or its fans either (just some of the internet ones; hopefully some of their local libraries close so they no longer get free internet access).

  • Unless PSU has something to gain from a UM loss I'll root for them over O$U everytime. Strong academics there and their fanbase isn't a bunch of hacks.

  • The enemy of my enemy is my friend. So in a way, my hatred for OSU makes Michigan pretty bearable. Plus their fans are sensible & they place high value on academics so we can relate.

  • I have not read MGoBlog's comments on Joe. I am guessing they are ignorant and believed everything ESPiN sold them. However, I would not be surprised the culture on that blog is one of like a culture you'd find on EDSB, that Longhorns board where the guy dressed up as "pedo bear" for the Houston-PSU bowl game, all Bucknuts sites, some PSU sites (won't name any names), etc..Where it is acceptable to be dumb and ignorant.

    There were some great posts here from fans of many schools during the darkest days of November/December. Michigan fans were one of the schools to post positive comments here and I respect that they did. On their free board is another matter but I respect the ones that posted here. I don't know what was posted on MGoBlog but UM fans showed us a great deal more respect than the army of OSU trolls who came to our site.

  • I'm guessing the hate has died down bc we haven't lost to them since 07.. I still remember how arrogant their fans were in state college during the streak and how brutal 02 and 05 were. Winning cures all I guess but Michigan is rounding back on the schedule soon with what should be a talented and experienced team by that point, hopefully bob continues to catch up in the arms race or that hate could resurface

    LOL, my brother graduated from OSU, so obviously I had to email that video to him and all his little buckeye butt buddies. Funniest thing I have seen in awhile. I love when the dad gets in the reporters face and then all of a sudden the creepster with Buckeye shirt on gets tough.

    And on the eve of Joe's death, Brian made a post in which he twisted information and basically spat on Joe's casket before he was even put in it.

    It was the most disgusting piece of trash I have ever read... and that beats that clown from CBS that was beating up on the birthday letter to Joe from the players.

    Unfortunately, I also read some of the comments. A very small pocket of Michigan fans came to Joe's defense, but for the most part it was just the most tasteless conglomeration of pieces of shit that I have ever seen.

    They couldnt wait for the body to be put in the coffin, nevermind wait for it to be put in the ground.

    Not saying all Michigan fans are like this, but these are the ones who represented them on an open forum... and that blog is pretty popular.
