I hate Joe Paterno.

I hate him. And Jerry Sandusky. And Graham Spanier. And Gary Schultz. And Mike Mcqueary. And Tim Curley. I hate them.
Make no mistake, I love Penn State football. I love the sense of community I share over it. I love the drama and the metaphor inherent in the game. I love that I share it with my father. And those men have taken that from me because they were selfish and weak. And they took it from me because they allowed a child rapist to continue pursuing victims.
I refuse to defend any of these men, least of all Joe Paterno. I don't just want the statue removed and his name disassociated with PSU because I want to appease the press. I want his legacy destroyed because I hate him. Because he so quickly destroyed what he built. I don't care that he is the reason that the program exists. I care that it's continued existence is in jeopardy because of him.
Down vote me. Bash me. Whatever. This whole thing is infuriating at every level and it is time PSU fans direct their frustration at all parties who deserve it, including one Joseph Vincent Paterno.

I think the last thing needed on this board was another thread about how people hate joe or Sandusky or whatever. This could have been placed in any of the last 10 Paterno/Freeh report/etc threads.
