There are not many Lane Kiffin fans on this board...or anywhere outside of Southern California, but...
I think there should be next weekend. I don't think I can take us not going to a bowl game, and the Domers going to the title. Goddamnit...

Recent disdain for USC vs lifetime disdian for ND is the dilemma. Go Trojans, it will fill my heart with joy to see the sad domers at the end of a loss.

I don't like either team, but I just can't root for a guy like Kiffin even for one game. I grew up in an area of PA that is basically Penn State and ND fans. My best friend is a ND die hard. So I am happy for him. Every fan base has their annoying gloating fans.
Either way, can't root for a guy like Kiffin who is a cheat and a slimy scumbag. ND will lose in the championship game vs Bama or Georgia anyway.

I look at it as a win/win situation.
ND loses to USC, but if they beat USC, then they get absolutely destroyed by Alabama in the BCS title game.

Never will I ever root for ND. I went to school with about 50 kids that went there for college and in Chicago just about everyone is ND grad it seems like. I hope that SC approaches this like the biggest game of the year because I would love to see the look on all the poor ND fans faces when they don't go to the title game. I still don't think they are that good. Kinda like McGloin yesterday. They don't look good but somehow they win

Don't understand the Notre Dame hate. You may not like it, but they are much more like us than SC. I for one am cheering for them. Lou Holtz, I might add, has been one of our only supporters on ESPN.

Their fans are insufferable, ND has been irrelevant for 2 decades and their fans go on about ND's greatness every year while they lose.
