Ex-bwi since Sunday, it was the first site I every joined and so I found it a little tough to cut the cord. Only ever spent a few months at FOS.

Ex-FOSer. I still go to the Audibles board from time to time, but haven't been a paid member in a year and a half or two years

I keep trying to become an ex to both of those sites but it seems like they won't let you. I can never get anyone to answer when I call.

I used to belong to all three. Now I'm ex-FOS. I have no idea why, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on quitting BWI. Phil doesn't bother me, he's kind of like comedic relief over there and Nate and Ryan do a good job.

I'm excited by Cory's imminent addition. I loved his work at FOS, but his frequent disappearences for periods of time made it pretty easy to leave FOS. They really didn't have anybody else providing good PSU recruiting coverage (certainly not Bob, LOL). With Sean here, anything Cory provides is gravy and if he ends up providing a more full time presence here than he did at FOS...this place will be incredible (even more so than it was). I just hope this doesn't lead to Sean taking a less public and more administrative role down the road.

Anyone remember the time at FOS that some scout reporter from California posted an article on our board that a kid was interested in Penn? Lol

Yes, that was unreal. She was one of the "pretty" people they all of the sudden started hiring. Not sure if they think that will make recruits talk to them more or what.

I dropped BWI a year or two ago after Sean left. Then I dropped FOS after last season after they gave us one team update leading up to the bowl game. Just pathetic coverage. They really fell off the cliff last fall for some reason. Started recycling stories from previous years. I joined 24/7 as a premium member in January and haven't regretted it since.

I was on FOS nad BWI for years. I left Scout because the regional guys are more fans than reporters. They would say things that were completely unprofessional and really should have kept to themselves. They even bickered with paying customers and not just once or twice.

I think it's a joke that you even have to call to cancel, rather than have the option to do so online. It's the only reason I haven't got around to canceling at Rivals yet. I really need to do that before I get charged for another year in a few months . . .

X-FOS. For a while that was a good site and Corey did a great job. Then it began to be infiltrated by students and locals who looked down their noses at us "outsiders" who live outside of Centre County or even Pa. That rubbed me the wrong way big time but I stayed for the insider info. Then those guys all abandoned ship when they lost a lot of credibility with BOB's hire. Shortly after that FOS got very lazy and the board wasn't regulated properly as more and more non-sports discussions showed up and the recruiting info dried up. It was obvious they didn't care as much and with Sean's content here it was easy to make the move. I do miss Brennan's commentary but the meat of what we all want is here and now. Great move for Cory and hopefully Sean et al will keep a lid on things here.
