How many nfl teams.....

Would bama be better then. If you could bring the whole team to the nfl with Saban as coach the roster would be better then at least 6-7 teams

This was discussed ad nauseum on ESPN when Spurrier said Alabama could beat an NFL team. Everyone I heard said they would get CRUSHED by the worst team in the league. I tend to agree.

I think they would give Detroit a good game bc our defense and special teams is terrible, but Calvin would destroy this team and suh would dominate.. I don't think bama could beat any nfl team.. Bama's qb would not have nearly an easy time completing passes and finding open guys.. Their rb would not find the edge as easily as they are tonight..

Yes it is. Professional football was a part-time job for professionals the last time the college all-stars win 50 years ago.

Think about it this way, let's assume 1/2 of Alabama's will play in the NFL. That still leaves 1/2 the team that would never sniff an NFL roster. Last time I checked 100% of NFL players play in the NFL.

I agree, but it would still be an interesting game to see the #1 draftee go up against the NCAA all America team..

You have to be kidding me. I think you generally know your stuff when it comes to football, Trock, but this really has me questioning WTF? The worst team in the NFL would beat Bama 75-0 if they didn't let up on the gas.

Could the best high school team beat the worst college team? Of course not. Bama would get crushed. With that argument, teams like LSU and Georgia would almost beat an NFL team while A&M would beat a pro team with an 18 year old QB. Just not happening IMO. NFL teams are better, faster, bigger, and have been there/done that.
