Some say they've been asked about the relationship between university administrators and Penn State's athletic department, and whether student judicial processes were interfered with to protect student athletes.

It's absolutely amazing that we are giving the NCAA their reason for punishment. It 's almost as if the people running this show have no concept of reality.

Ticking time bomb about to hit 0:00..... add this source to the hints that irondoc posted on scout audibles and it adds to a VERY grim picture. We all assumed it would be horrific, but if it uncovers things to get NCAA ammo to come down on ath dept/football it might be even worse than we thought. Mid July we will see. Media will buzz again and want more heads to roll. Will the ath dept and football team take the brunt this time? We will have schollies left to give to these kids commiting?? Damn this sucks. Burn in h@ll Sandusky!

The article said that among emails turned over to the Freeh team are messages written by former President Graham Spanier and Wendell V. Courtney, Penn State's former general counsel, "which describe steps the two men took to protect players."

I dont trust the Freeh investigation and report at all, especially if they have not interviewed the main people in Schultz, Curley, and Spanier, which is what I am hearing, but are more focused on the football program instead of finding out what went wrong with Spanier, Curley, and Schultz allegedly covering up the act of a monster.

The report is to: "unearth how much university officials knew about Sandusky's behavior and explain their actions and inactions."
The board is so concerned about its own ass, that I see them throwing the football program's past under the bus to save their own ass.

It would paint a very grim picture if this confirmed anything irondoc posted, but there is no relation at all -- as a matter of fact, there is nothing new here about Sandusky.
