  • LaMichael James is my pick.

I guess I should warn you, if I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said.

  • 1. Landry Jones
    2. Andrew Luck
    3. Trent Richardson
    4. LaMicheal James
    5. Alshon Jeffrey

Luck, but he should be DQed for that hideous beard.

  • Luck is far and away the favorite. When you haven't won before, that's usually a good sign. Obviously, he could get hurt, harbaugh is gone and he is on the West coast but he is excellent. It's hard to go against him

Yeah...I'm usually a beard fan (Chris Muller or Brian Wilson anyone?), but that thing is downright nasty.

There's no rhyme or reason to it. He can't grow a mustache and it's patchy all over his face. Looks awful.

  • 1. Luck
    2. Blackmon
    3. Lattimore
    4. Richardson
    5. James

Despite this list I'll say 50/50 someone not on this list wins.

  • I think South Carolina is going to do some things, and Marcus Lattimore is going to be at the forefront. Sophomores have been en vogue for the Heisman in the recent years, I see it happening again.

    1. Marcus Lattimore
    2. Andrew Luck
    3. LaMichael James
    4. Kellen Moore

    Andrew Dzurita

  • I'm thinking it's going to be one of these two:

    1. Overrated QB
    2. Overrated RB

It'll be a tight race, but I'm confident one of them will pull it out.

He's not that big of a favorite. Luck is probably my all-time favorite non-PSU player so I have to go with him.

Gambling is illegal at Bushwood sir, and I never slice......

    But back on topic.

With the weapons (Broyles, Stills, and Miller back from injury) Hard to bet against Landry Jones in that offense. But if I had a second pick, I would say LaMichael James. Gonna get a lot of carries this year Third, I would say Lattimore. Spurrier will ride him until he drops, but that might wear him thin also.

He finally shaved it. Beard is gone:-)

  • You guys are pretty high on Lattimore. He isn't as explosive as TRich and he wore down last season because they used him so much. They need a complimentary back there. The way they use him, he potentially could lose some NFL shelf-life while still in college heh. Look for Richardson to burst onto the scene in a major way this season. He has a little nagging hammy injury right now, but will be 100% in short time.

Considering Jones, Richardson, and Luck will be on top 5 teams, any one of them 3.

I hate the heisman nowadays. popularity contest. there won't ever be another steve mcnair or gordie lockbaum in the mix because they aren't on teams that are in the spotlight.

Heisman: Best player in the country.

Now it's the best player on the best team in the country....it no longer represents excellence IMO.

My sleeper pick btw is Alshon Jeffrey.

I think I got it right.

Actually, as overrated as the winners usually are, I think Griffin was FANTASTIC this year. I think through 5 or more games, the guy had more TD passes than incompletions. He's a much better passer than most people give him credit for.
