Head 2 Head with OSU

So both PSU and OSU sit at 8 commits a piece for 2013 and I was curious to compare how we are doing head to head with recruits. So far we have three commits (AB, Webb and Sickels - all 4* recruits) to one for OSU (Elliot - 3*). Looking ahead to our non-commited targets that share offers from both schools, who do we land? Do we win the H2H battle in this class? What does it mean moving forward? I look forward to everyone's thoughts.

Off the top of my head we have only lost one recruit to OSU (Elliot) that we have offered. They offered (and many thought would get) Breneman and Webb. We have some big targets remaining in Foster, Anzalone, Williams, and (technically) Johnson. I think they lead for Anzalone, with us in close second along with UF. I think we lead for Williams. I think Pitt leads for both the others (God knows why).
I believe both schools end up with very good classes. I think OSU's will top ours ratings-wise however.

I think going toe to toe with OSU in BOB's 1st year under the circumstance of how it came to be and winning these battles says a lot about the staff he put together and the approach he has taken to this point. If he can manage a game half as well as he has handled his few months on the recruiting trail, I'm extremely optimistic for the future. Landing a few more big recruits (Foster, Johnson, AA) would send a huge warning shot across the bow of the OSU pirates that have been lurking in our waters unopposed for too long!

Elliott wasn't a head to head loss for PSU. He had no interest in PSU. Head to head battles are ones that kid had more than passing interest in both schools - seriously considered both. Sickels never had any interest in OSU.

I agree wholeheartedly that Elliot was not a head-to-head comparison I was just looking at the offers that have been made among players both schools were interested. Not to say that he was interested in us at any point in time. Plus we were late to dance with him Late iffer by 0B and we didn't really have a chance in the first place. I'd like to see how things go moving forward though.

Has Anzalone said where he'll be this weekend? There's a couple quick feeds at the top of the screen but idk how old or recent they are.
