I love how ESPN is runinng with Redd and Haplea and Bolden like the whole team is leaving and we wont have any talent left... When in reality, Redd hurts, but is at RB (a position that can be easily replaced) and Haplea wasn't a starter and Bolden was the 3rd string QB...

FSU has a hard time landing TEs. We are happy to have him and you guys are very gracious.

The only one that mattered was Redd. The others were third and fourth string players. ESPN made a big deal over a walk-on transferring to NC State. They have no clue the insignificance of these kids absent one.

Interesting - FSU doesn't run many two tight end sets, and TE's don't catch many passes. Nick O'Leary (Jack Nicklaus' grandson) will be a true Soph this year. This is what he said after Spring practice: 'On FSU using the tight end more this season. “This spring we’ve done two tight end sets probably 75 percent of the time when last year we did probably 20 percent of the time.”

So it appears there will be more opportunities for him there and a better depth chart. Works out for me - no real harm to PSU and helps FSU, however minor it may be. Good luck to Kevin.

At FSU O'Leary is a very good pass catching TE. Where FSU got hammered was run blocking at the TE position. FSU converted a DE to TE in the offseason to help with blocking. Hopefully Haplea can help as well. Got a couple good young ones in the pipeline, just young.
