His father, Erick, played QB at Marian Catholic and made the Big 33 squad in the mid 80's. He threw a TD in that game to a guy that went to my school...Jim Paluck from Panther Valley. Jim later went to Missouri with another one from PV...Gene Snisky. Gene is more known for his stint in WWE and 2 acting roles on ABC Primetime.
I believe that I read elsewhere that when Christian played football games in the neighborhood, his team was Penn State. Childhood memories and the promise of an exciting offense have to be very appealing.

Small world. I ran track against Schuylkill Haven and Jason Killian in the late 80's/early 90's. He was big and fast. Unfortunately, I was a step behind in the 400. Back in those days, Schuykill Haven had something to the order of a 54-meet win streak. That streak most likely went a bit longer. PV just missed by a point or two during one of my years. The most unique memory I had from those great teams was that the entire team smelled like Ben Gay or Icy Hot.
Jason had the state TD record for a few years and signed with Penn State. From what I heard, it was an academic decision to later transfer to East Stroudsburg where did a solid job with returning kicks. Check the link below for some history on Mr. Killian.
