I really don't see why Penn State can't take both Burns and Hackenberg. I really bet that taking both is the plan.
Both seem to be very good, and I doubt that they would shy away from the competition especially considering that the QB position could be wide open after McGloin graduates.
After this year, McGloin graduates, who knows if Bolden stays, and there are a lot of question marks about PJ's grades. I think that they need both.

The way I look at it, we have positive momentum right now. It's something we lost over the last few months, but we are getting it back.
What do we need to do with positive momentum? We need to either A) Capitalize on it and get some commitments or B) Keep the momentum going.
The next 56 days are critical. Always Be Closing and now is the time to close on a few of these guys that are big recruits and are looking to make a decision early.
If we get a WR, TE, QB, I imagine that can only help us with RB.
Gemrich - Is there any comparison between Hack and Skylar Morningwig (sp?) Both are coaches sons so I was thinking that helps each of them with certain aspects that Burns currently doesn't have.

Skyler is much more mobile and presents a significantly stronger running threat. Hackenberg is a MUCH better natural thrower of the football, better arm, better fundamentals. As passers Hackenberg and Mornhinweg aren't even comparable.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
