Gotta be Munchak

  • this is getting ridiculous. we should be announcing a coach today or tomorrow latest. the program is in freefall right now, no direction, no future, and everyone is being left hanging. If it's Munchak, then seal it up. Golden, same thing. All the feasible college candidates are free after their bowls (Saban/Miles simply not happening).. The NFL candidates aside from Munchak are coordinators on teams with legit SB chances. No way I see a Coordinator leaving in the midst of a possible SB run.

    there are only 3-4 hires already rumored worthy of this wait: Munchak, Petersen, Mullen or Golden. Only Munchak is known to be one to really want the job, but he feels indebted to the Titans and Bud Adams for what he's done for his professional career...

    Joyner needs to load up Ira, LaVar, Todd Blackledge and Matt Millen in a plane, and persuade Munch to be a hero to millions of PSU fans and alums across the country....

    The Golden and Mullen options have gone by the wayside. If they were the play, they would have been named already.

    I've not seen Munchak publicly say anything even remotely to the degree of he "reallys wants the job". All we've heard is that Munchak, according to, cough cough, ESPN sources is said to be "torn". Sorry, but I don't trust anything via the worldwide leader in hypocrisy. So no one is "known" to want it. Does someone have it? Perhaps, but jumping to solid conclusions based on these reports or sources is not really productive. I'm with bonov in that I believe a hire has been made. Who is it? Don't know, but sekrah apparently does, lol.

    *After reading your post again bonov, perhaps I spoke for you, in that you believe a hire has been made. If that's not what your post was meant to relay, then I apologize.

    I disagree with alost verything you say.

    He wouldn't be a hero to me, I'm not a Munchak fan. I also don't feel that Munchak, Golden or Mullen are worth waiting this long for.

    Try to fathom the hypocrisy of a Government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured .but not prove they're a citizen

    That's the part that I agree with; the "Worth waiting THIS LONG for".

    If you were going to make a mediocre hire just do it.
