I doubt this tactic is successful. First off everyone said our best players did leave, so who would kiffen or redd really want? Robinson isnt leaving, the te's would be crazy to leave considering obrien uses them better than Kiffen. So my question is who would Redd even be that close to?

Pretty Redd's chums all left anyway.

Not sure I believe this, especially given the 75 scholarship limit they have. But even if true, I don't know that it would be that successful.

I hope that someone recruits Kiffin's wife, maybe someday she will wake up and figure out he is a douche. I volunteer my brother he gets more azz than a toilet seat at the Lilith fair concert

Has the NCAA ruled on USC's appeal for scholarship increase for "time served" yet? I can't remember. If that is denied, they can't go over 75 for 2013. They lose at least 11 seniors on scholarship after this year and have 18 verbal commits thus far. The numbers don't add up for them being able to poach. Then again, what do I know? If the NCAA doesn't deny the request and grants USC a full allowance, then they open the door on every appeal. It would be amazing how a program as crooked as USC can win the appeal, but PSU be denied if it chose to appeal because it didn't break any NCAA violations.

Someone needs to refresh my memory as well. Weren't ALOT of people pissed off that Redd bolted? I'm not sure his "recruiting" PSU players would be that successful.

I had no feelings towards USC up until the 2009 Rose Bowl. I started hating them after watching them dance around on the sidelines (and on the field) like a bunch of ASSCLOWNS early in the game. Hell, even Pete Carroll got into the act-NO CLASS. And, Yes, I know they had a big lead and eventually won. Wait til the game is over, shake the other team's hands, then you can celebrate.

Not surprised. I'll wait for legit confirmation. I'm not a huge fan of Lane, but I'd imagine someone else would have heard this and provided confirmation by this point.
