LSU this year. OSU...this year. USC...starting to see something yet. Oregon....maybe now. Auburn...hmmm..still being investigated. Bama.....twice so far they have been caught.

You are using several schools to implicate them all. If posters want to question why we are losing recruits to schools like Notre Dame, Rutgers, and Boston College, I don't see how anything is wrong with that. If you want to reply they are being bought and paid for, more power to you, but I will be rolling my eyes.

Which one of those schools has won a MNC lately? Most of the ones that complain also talk about how PSU isn't winning at the clip they used to and need to compete with the "big boys". Roll your eyes as apparently we aren't talking about the same thing. PSU will lose recruits and I get that....they ALWAYS DID even when they were on top. I get that and always have. You're not even in the same conversation as me...sorry if you though I was revoking your be critical of the staff card...bigger fish...bigger pond.

Well you are the one who posted "The next time someone asks why can't we recruit like so and so...ask them how the breath with their head stuck in there. It's NOT a level playing field". I did not see anything about recruits going to schools that won MNCs so I'm not sure how one could infer you were being so specific. Hell, this thread is about the U and their mediocrity while cheating.

On another B10 note, I wonder what this does to the ongoing tOSU investigation.
Gotta say that tOSU seems like minor leaguers compared to Miami. Will this lessen their penalty?

It could stiffen them too. Think about it. With them having what is going on with OSU and Miami, the NCAA could use these 2 schools as the sacrificial lambs to show everyone else that they are tired of this and hammer both schools. The Miami stuff is much, much worse though. Money, gifts, abortions, prostitution, and coaches of 2 programs knowing/promoting it? Jeesh, we very well may have a RIP Miami day some day soon.

And they match up early in the season correct?
Wonder if there will be a new "trophy" game started? 1 month knocked off probation to the winner (*unless illegal players are once again used)

There's an interactive list floating around somewhere, I was perusing it last night. Funny stuff actually.

I'm with LJL here.
Not so much this board, but another site I used to frequent had a constant drone of comments stating that the PSU staff was "lazy" every time a recruit chose to go elsewhere.
Now, this may be true at times. I think its mostly untrue, because these coaches realize that football is their livelihood, not a hobby, so they have a vested interest in getting the best kids. That fit the program. But, maybe some times a coach figures he has little shot at a kid, so doesnt' take the time to write him a hand-written note, or send him a zillion texts. Maybe it is true.
But how would some dude sitting behind a computer in Shamokin know this?
