Wow, I just googled a kid I remember playing when I was around 15 and he actually signed with the Indians last year. Casey Gaynor from Toms River, Jersey.

Going for the Mo 4 out save...#1 in the books with a 3 pitch bases loaded strikeout.
Be nice to get some insurance runs though. Their 1-2 hitters are up first, and they are real good

I think Semis...in this case the International and US finals are Semi's for the whole Series..are elimination games. But I am also not positive on that.

Does anyone know how the pitching shapes up for PA in the next game?
I imagine one of the benefits is that Montana/CA will be throwing out their stud tomorrow if they can.

From here on out it's 1 and done. If PA advances they only will need to beat Cali or Montana once to advance. PA pitching is in great shape. They will have their best pitchers available.

Keep it up, Keystone!! Great win over Georgia. Especially glad to see ya'll beat the Peach-Staters. They earn some Bad LLWS Karma during the game against Kentucky. Our team pitched to their big hitter, Fromm...but when McLarty came to the plate, the Georgia catcher was setting up next to their dugout. Nice to see PA take out GA.

Eh, there are tons of kids like him thoughout the country. Is he a great player? Of course, but he is also 8 inches taller and 50 lbs bigger than most of the kids.
I grew up playing with a number of kids like that who dominated and dropped bombs like Fromm's last night. Then everyone catches up to them in size and some couldn't even cut it in HS ball.

Bingo. State08 is a truth teller. I chuckle when I see posts like that that say a 12 year old is a can't miss baseball product. LL is replete with can't miss prospects. Truth is,kids develop at different rates, find other interests, concentrate on a different sport, whatever. The great 12-year-old athlete often gets passed up as the kids mature. I only know of one kid that stood out in the LLWS that went on to greatness, and it happened to be in hockey - Chris Drury.

There have been others besides Drury, including Lloyd McClendon, Jason Bay, Jason Varitek, and Gary Sheffield. We remember Drury the most because his team won it all. I normally would agree with you overall, but Fromm did do some things out there that I haven't recalled seeing many other kids in the LLWS do.

you can tell from an early age if a kid has "it".
Yes, he's bigger than the other kids, but you can also see that he has that thing that you just can't teach.
