  • Any chance this kid gets a hard look by the staff? He is out of New Jersey and is an absolute bulldozer running the ball. Penn State is listed under schools of interest, but no offer.

  • His dad posted here twice awhile back. Said Gerald came to a game and it really opened his eyes. Was really interested in PSU and was looking forward to visiting in the future. From then until I cut off my subscription (mid-August) I heard nothing about him. So idk what's been said about him since then, but I'm not sure the staff is buying. Maybe they don't think he projects well to the next level, idk. He doesn't really fit the Patriot type back that BOB would look for anyway. DE might be his future position imo.

    So glad that Sean/Cory/Steve do not blow smoke up our asses with regards to recruits. So far, they've been pretty on for pretty much every recruit since I signed up.

  • Questions about Gerald; As of now, G is one of the top RB recruits in the country. He has a wide range of offers and unfortunately Penn State is not one of them at this moment. I dont believe it is because of Pollard leaving.if it is, shame on Penn State they would be missing out on a very talented Rb. With that being said its still a little early so a lot of things can happen between now and August we will just have to wait and see. Oh and by the way all Geralds offers are for RB. They are as of today, RUTGERS, MICH. ST.,SOUTH CAROLINA, TEXAS,BOSTON COLLEGE, WISCONSIN,TEMPLE. On the way, Ohio ST., Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama,is Penn St.next? Even if Penn St. doesnt offer Gerald will be fine at any school he chooses.As long as he is receiving a great education and playing at the highest level of college competition
    all will be good.

    I think the lack of an offer has more to do with the limited scholarships than anything else.

    If PSU had a class of 20+ this year, it might happen sooner rather than later.
