By the balls...you mean no offer in hand? 18 million hanging over his head? The only time you have your employer by the balls is if you actually have that other offer. I must have missed the part where Cleveland offered him the job. 4 hours after the report of his interview being leaked and he is all PSU again. I love PSU and hope they win a ton of games, but I don't buy what some are selling here. I've never walked into anyones office after an interview and demanded crap without a written offer in hand. This leverage he had must have been a legal piece of information in his contract or something because a 8 win coach in his first year with an 18 million buyout is not the spitting image of leverage. To us the fans who think he is a good coach...maybe that is the case, but I'm not seeing this from a business or even common sense stand point. More like he interviewed, didn't have an offer yet, info got leaked and he is all in with PSU as he has to be one month out from LOI with no offer in hand.

You do realize PSU would have been notified of his interviews, right? They weren't aware because of a leak. And you should threaten to walk without a job offer in hand sometime. I got a $20K raise that way.
