Sounds to me like this is about a compromise from BOB's perspective. He realizes that the sanctions were far worse than he expected they would be so if he is to stay he wants PSU to man up and provide him with the extra resources he will need to reduce the negative effects of said sanctions.
I have absolutely no problem with him asking for these things and I wish that the school wouldn't have seemingly forced his hand to the point of him having to actually interview...

Whatever happens, I know one thing: this fall I will enjoy watching PSU football with my dad like I have for nearly the past 3 decades. Better yet, now my 2 year old is starting to enjoy football and just got his first jersey! Coaches come and go but tradition, at least in my family, will never die.

You think any of the coaches told the players not to tweet anything related about BOB? Tweets were flying shortly after interview news now its been dead for awhile.

My problem is that this program is in a very vulnerable situation, and we don't need some hotshot flirting with the NFL AT THIS POINT.
Were we not under sanctions and facing the potential destruction of our program, I wouldn't be pissed off.
