  • The first game I remember was 1990 ND game where Fayack nailed the fg with 4 seconds left. We were 18 at the time, ND was no 1. I watched it with my dad and uncle in the old Highway Pizza in the Westerly Parkway Plaza.

    I would have to say the 94 team was my favorite. 05 is up here too.

    I didn't realize this until recently, but that hit ended that safety's career and may have caused him life long problems. I learned of this on this board (somewhere) and don't watch that collision the same way anymore.

  • Here's a different one. I'd have to say that the 91 team of Sacca/Richardson. Man, I loved watching Richardson run. He had this unique look that I can vividly remember.

  • I may be one of the luckiest Penn State students ever. I was a student 1982-1986 for both Championships, just an incredible time for PSU football.

    1982 is the team for me, the 'Bama loss was tough to take, but the coverage up to the Sugar Bowl was great and of course the game outcome, great game.

    The media played up the Walkers, Hershel Walker and Walker Lee Ashley. It was the unstoppable run game of Georgia vs. the stubborn D of PSU.

  • 2005 team is my favorite team. It was my freshman year at PSU and the program was down and no one knew what to expect from the 2005 team. What a magical season that was!

  • The 1994 team. I had the pleasure (displeasure now) of living in California at the time and attended their Rose bowl victory over Oregon. Too bad PSU got ripped off in the NC voting!

  • My first ever game was in 2001. Since then, my favorite team probably has to be 2005. What a magical season that was an emotional roller coaster. That OSU game was the best game of my life & the loss next week at Michigan was the most devastating loss of my life... I didn't leave the house for like 2 days.

    Capped off with a Orange Bowl win over Bowden pretty much sealed the deal that PSU was the school I wanted to go to. Funny how all these recruits take so to decide yet I knew by the 7th grade.

    I was 6. Was so excited but didn't realize the true impact of the Fiesta Bowl. My miserly old man went out and bought a new color TV. The sound was in this new fascinating thing called stereo and it came with this funny contraption called a remote control.

    I had some trouble remembering some of the guys I think I might put on. I am mostly mid 80's on for real memory haha. Quite a guys I thought to put on there as well but didnt. I could load up on FB's alone biggrin
