John Urschel first out, says he's extremely excited for the future. Said O'Brien is 'very enthusiastic' and is really excited to get going. Would not discuss specifics.

Matt Stankiewitch said the meeting went 'better than he expected.' O'Brien has a 'great personality' and fits the frame of a Penn State man. Said its nice to have closure on the coaching situation. Said that nobody has talked to him about transferring. It's great to have a coach come from the NFL. Thinks it will be great to see what happens with the offense.

Matt McGloin said he was impressed by the press conference. It's exciting to play on an offense like he has. Envisions an entirely new offense. Gave him chills to talk about how excited he was about it. In that type of offense you play within the limitations of it but play to the strengths of the offense. Has not reached out to Jay. Not sure what's going on with the staff.

I am not going to lie i was against the hire to begin with but i kept an open mind and i am really starting to get excited for next year. i just hope we can beat tOSU on regular basis and steal their recuits.

I am sure O'Brien will have some NE weight and conditioning ideas that he will want enforced....so I think we will see some old ways with the HIIT and then some new things with O'Brien ways....let's give it a chance before judging (-).
