Especially since early on in the year Sean noted that they wanted larger LBs.

Which of our LB's would be characterized as smaller?

Well, if he meant height you could say Walton. But he's becoming a bowling ball (in a good way) of a LB at 230 already. Issah at 6'3, Bell listed at 6'2, and we're still going after Dooley at 6'3, Can't say they're short if they call check in there. I thought Bell was shorter, thought Walton was as well. Oh well.

Height wise, two of our three LB commits are listed at 6'2" or less. In turn, that probably means they are really only about 6' or 6'1", IMO. Of those who will likely see PT in the coming years, Wartman, Hull, and Kline are all smaller LBs on our roster at present.

I wasn't dissing the idea, it was more of an observation. Traditionally, I feel like we've recruited bigger LB's in the past. Now we are going for smaller, quicker LB's. Nothing wrong with it as long as it fits our system.

Except Wartman (6'1), Hull (6'0 maybe) and Kline (6'2) were all recruited by the last staff. Roof early on was actually targeting bigger guys than we had in the past. Connor (6'2), Posluszny (6'2), Sean Lee(6'2), Bowman (6'0), and Shaw (6'1) aren't what you would call long guys. And that's after they got here and continued to grow.
