At least we are ranked ahead of USC at seasons end. I think we passed them after they lost to ND.

Another one that cracks me up is how Florida is ranked ahead of Louisville in both of those bowls???? I am sure there are some other head scratchers.

In other related news, saw that PSU was ranked as high as 50 and low as 90 in early projections for next year. I wonder at what point voters and officials can look at PSU objectively. IMO, PSU will still be struggling with both again next year. Wonder if BOB had his end of the season meeting with Big 10 officials yet.

It's my opinion that we are more suited to be in the 15-20 range, however, that is based on we played the last 2/3 of the season. We manhandled NW. I think we would have beaten Michigan. We should have beaten Nebraska, if not for some poor officiating. The Ohio and UVa losses drop us in the polls, but the team that finished the season with a win over Wiscy would have throttled both of those teams by season's end. So, the question in my mind, is are the rankings supposed to be based on how a team is playing at season's end or based on their season's body of work? If the later, then we are probably appropriately ranked.
