  • Here is what I just sent her:

    Professor Simon,

    Thank you for your service to the NCAA.

    For the integrity of collegiate athletics and to try to salvage the concept of the student-athlete, please ask for the immediate resignation of Mr. Mark Emmert who can no longer govern the NCAA with any credibility. I am appalled with his demeanor. I am also appalled with how his organization has (ineptly) handled issues at Penn State, UNC Chapel Hill, and Miami (and perhaps other institutions). I would be hard-pressed to find a worse representative to govern collegiate athletics. In my opinion, he needs to be removed from his position without hesitation.

    Thank you for your considering my opinion on this matter.
