After giving it more thought and talking it over with "Joe" yesterday, I am uncomfortable with what we agreed were the next steps," Curley wrote in a Feb. 27, 2001, email, according to a CNN report on its contents.
We are all aware of the above "statement"
But how do we know that what "Joe" wanted was to go above child welfare services and the Second Mile. Maybe he wanted to report to the Police & Curley was uncomfortable with that? I know this is all speculation. I'm sure I have been reading it the wrong way. I'm not a lawyer or a reporter but that came in my mind before "Joe" was the coverup master mind. I know im not a big commenter and I will catch heat over this but its been in the back of my mind. I don't want a argument over this just please correct me if im looking past the big picture.
and the media is really amping up today...yahoo has jumped on board. What you said is exactly correct, nobody knows what Curley meant...its all ssumptions...and the worst case scenerio is what people drool over..so thats what they are running with. Maybe they are right, but if you present that side you better present the other side as well
We know the authorities were never contacted and joe told us he never followed up.... Nothing was stopping joe from doing more but we know he didn't. The fact that he had this conversation at all despite saying he never spoke of the incident other than the initial report just increases the odds that he was complicit rather than stupid. Theres no escaping that he was one or the other. This speculation to try and save joes reputation makes no sense and is making our fanbase look ridiculous.
