Christian Hackenberg was the first 'no brainer' pick.
Update from later in the thread...This is the finals announcement. It developed into a top 25 list that will later be broken down into the Elite 11.
Update from later research...Zach Greenlee won MVP at the Las Vegas Elite 11 Regional. Christian attended the event so he was the first 'no brainer' from the non-MVP considerations.

As an FYI, this is for the top 24. The analysts were saying that Christian was a top 3.
Update: As the final picks were being debated, Trent Dilfer said, "This is a loaded class."

Ahh. Heck of a QB class this year. Browne, Shane Morris, Hack, Bateman (Bama finally gets their stud QB), and Olson are all studs - and better than any of the QBs last year IMO including Gunner. I really look forward to seeing those guys all compete on the same field.

Hmm I don't recall hearing that, but a recruiting analyst on twitter said Ryan has a prior commitment.

I really really like the Hack, I cannot wait until he gets on campus. He seems more excited about being Penn State then a lot of the rabid fans. I don't know if he was a huge fan before he declared but he is making up for lost ground now. Here is hoping that he has a better career both college and pro then Collins had, it is about time that PSU had a truly elite QB and this guy may fit the bill.
