They claimed that he was the best TE prospect in years just weeks before he committed here. Now all of a sudden he's not even the best in his own class?
I understand ESPNs biases towards the south and Texas, but this goes completely against everything they said about him just weeks ago.

That's fine, I get where you are coming from. But I can see three minutes of it and tell that his kick step is not an accident he stumbled upon. He finishes too well, and will be even better once he doesn't lunge as much on his run blocking (which is a minor detail for a guy like him).

Kid is legit.

I know he's legit, that's not the issue. I'm just trying to figure out if he's the best looking offensive line prospect Penn State has gone after since I started following recruiting. His profile pic is insane, all muscle. If he's legitimately 6'6/275 and looks like that, and if his feet are as insanely quick as they look on film....... all bets are off. He moves so well on film that it almost looks like a video game or something, just doesn't look real when you consider his size.

I'm not getting too hyped up over the star ratings for high school football recruits on ESPN.

But, it's a nice thing to point out to a WR recruit that on ESPN we have the #1 pro-style QB committed and a top 11 player in the country. ESPN is pretty important to a 17 year old athlete, regardless of its reputation for recruiting among junkies.

Depends on the terminology of the coach. Here we use Y and F as our TEs. Most teams use H and X that I have been on, or X and Y. ESPN I thought had ranked "true" TEs as H's and flex TEs and Y's. Now I am not so sure.
