The only way Pitt gets top kids is if they are from there.

Don't we play them in 2016? They could both be 4th yr seniors if so.

That's pretty rare for an o lineman to enter after 3 years. Most top tackle prospects leave after their RS Junior year. But we still won't likely play those two.

That's huge.... a quick decision has always favored Pitt. Still behind here, but he was just at the VIP weekend. Maybe objectivity and logic will prevail here. Sure if he doesn't come to PSU I'd rather him go to Pitt than OSU UM or ND, but Pitt is about the worst choice he could make outside of the distance factor. He needs to think about his 1) education and 2) his career with football and afterwards. Neither of those point to Pitt in any way. Guys like Fitz, McCoy, Dion Lewis, Ray Graham--they all succeed despite the University and what's left of a football program.

Agree a lot with the distance from Mom,.hopefully Dorian decides he wants to play in front of 100,000 people instead of 10,000 people.

Message board rumors aren't terribly credible.

If he chooses Pitt he will get a good education if he puts the work in and he will be close to his mom which is apparently important to him. Still we aren't talking about a major difference in distance.

I think waiting for this to play out makes the most sense, and if he happens to choose Pitt I wish him well. I greatly prefer him to stray in state than to go elsewhere in the Big Ten.

Why is he waiting? Are there other places that he's hoping/planning to visit?

I will be very interested to see if he does visit OSU. It's very obvious distance is a factor here and OSU is further away from Belle Vernon than Pitt, WVU and PSU.

This is one thing I will never understand and if my kid ever gets in this position to be recruited by the best programs in the country ... don't waste the time of a school if you know you aren't going there based on whatever reason - distance or XXX. I know this is the only time in their life they will be courted like this, but ...
