Hang in there, we're still in it. Gonna be nailbiting time, but if he comes with his family we're in good shape IMO. Just gotta get through this weekend.

I try not to get all wrapped up in what a 17/18 year old kid is thinking. While I do enjoy following recruiting, I refuse to get caught up over one, or a few prospects. If we get Dorian, great. If not, oh well. On to the next one. If he doesn't verbal this weekend, I'll like our chances but I think it will be tough.

So Dorian Johnson cancels his trip to Penn State this weekend and instead goes to Pitt. And a return trip to State College hasn't been finalized yet. I know that he only just recently canceled his visit this weekend to PSU but I don't think it's too hard to contact the other people that would be joining him on his visit (2-3 family members?) to quickly finalize a date that works for everyone, especially if he wants to wrap up his recruitment by late June - early July.

Maybe there is more going on behind the scene but on the surface it just doesn't seem like a good sign for PSU's chances. I know he says it's 50-50 right now but his actions would suggest otherwise.

Agree, and nothing really surprising about this. We've been told time and again, that distance is a HUGE factor.

He seems like a really good kid, that's been forced act like a man before he normally would have. It sucks that he's torn in this manner, but he's got to do what's best for him and his family.

I didn't read the S-Zone yet, and may revise this post after I do ... but Pitt hasd a camp this weekend, and it's been known for quite sometime .... Foster & Johnson both live very close to Pitt - I would assume this has been on their calendar for awhile.
