The Lions' Pride

Just watched the film and he looks like a good LB prospect. He runs well and looks like a guy that should have no problem playing on the outside. He looks physical, good strength and likes to hit. Highlight vids are a small sample size but he looks to read and react very well. I like the Vandy stamp of approval. The guy knows what a LB should look like. It's pretty telling also that OB and Roof approve this offer going out with three LB's already committed and only a couple 'ships left. I think Dooley is a player.

Yeah, I'd say so. The weight is something I always wonmder about because he is so long, especially his arms, that I think he can grow even more into his body and fill out the frame. He's solidly built, don't get me wrong, but he could really strap some on in the back and shoulders as well as the legs. I've never had the chance to stand right next to him, but if he isn't 6'3 he isn't much shorter. I know he's a couple inches taller than I am at six flat.

Agree, this kid is molded like a PSU linebacker seems like they could put him on the field when he is mature enough and let him go. Get the kid in the system with a RS year and I bet the kid could and would be a contributor his RS FR year year with more to come the folding years. These are the type of kids we need back there when the bowl sanctions are over and we are feeling the schollie sanctions.

I don't think he sticks with Wisky IMO.

I would love to steal this kid and quite honestly tell Trey Johnson to stick it. Then again, it looks like he is telling PSU to stick it with his pending announcement. Go figure, he isn't visiting PSU. Who knew?

Good article on Dooley on espn. I can't link it fron my phone and I'll not post the whole thing, but I love this quote:

"I mean, Penn State, it's Linebacker University," Dooley said. "You have to have some interest in that."
