Agree totally. Just speaking about the venue specifically. It's not an easy place for anyone to win. With that said, I have no doubt that BOB is a better schematic coach than Ferentz. Zero. If our kids play up to the venue, we should win...perhaps even comfortably.

Gotcha. In general you're right - away games are going to be difficult. I am curious now what their attendance is like in Iowa, given the poor start to the season and general attendance declining in CFB.

I expected a loss to NW, hoped for a win. I fully expect a win against Iowa, even if it's a close game. The only thing that might lead to a loss is overlooking Iowa for OSU. Not sure I see our coaches overlooking anyone at this point, though.

Without the bye week, I could see that happening. Not with the bye week. Also, I think this team learned that lesson week 1. I don't expect a flat performance in any of our 2nd half games.

Yeah, I agree. The coaches are going to do everything in their power to prepare this team for success. After watching 6 weeks, Im sure of that. BOB and co. are learning on the job, but learning and improving very quickly

I see your point, but I can't envision a situation where I could root for them. The Baltimore Ravens are the only team I hate more than OSU.

    Lol me too!

I can't stand the ravens. Dirtiest team in the league.

  • I won't root for them, but I won't be upset if they win it. Knocking Nebraska out of the rankings potentially moves us closer to the top 25, and who wouldn't love to knock off a top-10 OSU in a Beaver Stadium night game White House? :)

Yeah. part of me wants that... Part of me hates OSU too much to be that rational lol

Of course, but the Blue & White is looking better than the Black & Gold right now. I love them both win or lose though. Can't be a fair weather fan.

Interesting thought here, may be fodder for another thread, but.....I too am a die hard Steeler fan,and despise the Ratbirds.I posed this question on a steeler site (youreinsteelercountry.com), If the Steelers no longer existed. what team would you root for?

I got chastised to no end for my choice....Ravens. Simply, they are an organization that has been built in the Steelers' image. The rivalry is so intense now because of the similarities in the philosophies of the organizations, from the top down. For as much as I love my Steelers, I have gained a measure of respect for the Ravens organization and a number of the players that have gone through there...
