root for OSU tonight so that they can be ranked higher when we play them at home with a ton of prospects in attendance going for the upset? Interested to see people's take on this...

Never. I don't care where they are ranked when we beat them. I used to root for all b10 teams. Not any more. I hate them all. Except maybe for NW. That's a classy program. Good university.

Why should I root for another Big Ten team anyway? I have no problem rooting against certain teams, but not for any conference teams.

I see your point, but I can't envision a situation where I could root for them. The Baltimore Ravens are the only team I hate more than OSU.

LOL I understand guys. Just saying, that game is going to be HUGE with all the recruits there and everything... Would look better if they were a top 15 team and we win... I dunno though, you guys are right. I hate them pretty badly lol

We need to take care of matters on our side in two weeks @Iowa City. Kinnick is not PSUs best venue...speaking conservatively. At least Ferentz will actually have a game week. He'll be watching PSU film for the 2nd time in his career.

I really, really don't think we can use past results against Iowa in the conversation. We've got a different staff, and their DC is gone. Will be an entirely new game, and we have a bye week to both prepare and get healthy. Iowa is a game we really ought to win.

No, I lived in Omaha for a couple years and the Nebraska fans and school are very similar to Penn St. I respect them a helluva lot more than OSU so gotta pull for them tonight.

Agree totally. Just speaking about the venue specifically. It's not an easy place for anyone to win. With that said, I have no doubt that BOB is a better schematic coach than Ferentz. Zero. If our kids play up to the venue, we should win...perhaps even comfortably.

Even when they suck, they would give us a game. But as someone said on here, it's a totally new team. New offense, new defense... We cannot over-look them though. I think BOB will give the guys needed time off to heal, but we cannot over-look them... And that wasn't the intent of this thread. I was just trying to see what people thought of the night game, and who theyd be hoping won... Since one of these scum teams has to win... OSU is a huge recruiting weekend. But I hate them so much, I dunno if I can hope either team to win...
