Pure guess but what are the chances that the NCAA will be dropping by for a visit?

The NCAA already issued a statement saying they will be waiting until the legal issues are done before taking a look. There were no NCAA violations to begin with, so how could we be prevented from competing for the Big Ten title? I guess it's possible we don't get invited to an at-large bowl, but that's on the sponsers, not the NCAA.

I'm guessing the only thing the NCAA may do, since this doesn't involve any violations, is allow players to transfer without having to sit out a year.

It is also too soon for any type of NCAA sanctions...not that this has anything to do with the football team.

My pure guess on ths going off of cjo's comments is that somebody outside of practice or they all saw a newspaper or tv program that called them child molesters or worse.

Don't know about the nature of these tweets, though I did see them... nothing I saw to connect the dots.

I also saw from players from the Scout team, PJ-Goodman, etc tweeting alot the last two days about the scout team... evidently Elijah Robinson coached the scout team prior to his promotion... not sure who the knew coach is, but he must really have the scout team working its ass off... they were talking about the minutia details and how thick the new scout playbooks was compared to the past...

Definitely it was like they were surprised to have this much work to put in on the scout team... which is kind of telling... and sounded like the intensity is getting ratchetted up on them... from a fans perspective that seems like a positive development, but the players didn't seem to big on it.

I don't know how that decision could be reached without involving the next coach unless the BOT KNOWS that the entire staff knew enough about the whole affair that they would end up being compromised.

Maybe they were banned from playing COD until after the season is over? After all, Charlie Strong said that playing the game caused his players to be less prepared for Pittsburgh than they should have been.

Belton said he got "the worst news ever" and needed to talk to someone about it... shortly after he said he talked to his mom, and everything was better... couple different players asked him if he was all right, and he responded with "Yeah, I am all good".... leads me to believe that it was more personal than anything team related...

I think Wallz and JB tweeted something too, but I believe that was in relation to their "Joe Paterno and the Media" class this morning. There were 6-8 different media outlets there again today, and Wallace later tweeted about "I dont think I can come to this class anymore".. so I believe their being upset had something to do with the convo's in that class.

We should let G-man lead the internal investigation. Dude has this situation on lock down. Good snooping.

Maybe the BOT would decide not to send PSU to the post-season. After all, all post season games are invitational.
