My wife and I have been vacationing in Indian Rocks Beach since we were dating. Love that area of Florida.
This is our 3rd yr in a row. We love it too. Her grandma and grandpa bought the condo when the high rise was built in '89, but her grandpa never wanted to use it. He passed away in '08 and her grandma moved down permanently shortly afterward. It's been a tremendous privilege to be able to visit these past few yrs. Gorgeous area. Her condo is on the 17th floor and has views of the gulf, bay, city...even Tropicana Field. We'll appreciate it as long as her grandma is still with us.

No not yet, but I was at a place right by there called Roy's. It was a Hawaiian like menu.
Great place, great food. Literally 5 min drive from the stadium.
Lee Roy Selmon’s is the best Sports Restaurant in Florida with locations in St. Petersburg, North Tampa, Sarasota, Bradenton, Ft. Myers, Palm Harbor, and South Tampa near Raymond James Stadium home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Great man.
The whole family was for that matter. I sat next to Lucious and Dewey at the BCS game in Miami. Something I will never forget, terribly nice people.

It's stone crab season - get crackin' Diddy.
You are soooooooooo speaking my language right there.
Rick, a gentleman on the plane did mention the Phils score. I do have tix to the opener on Saturday. My wife isn't a big baseball fan, so I may be accompanied by a special celebrity guest...although he is a Yank.

I would have recommended the Tilted Kilt in Clearwater for the 'sports' and 'food' but I just watched a video about 3 servers getting busted for illegal activities related to oxycodone.
We've heard a lot about the Salt Rock Grill, which is right up the road from where we're staying. Curious if anyone has been there.

Yes - it's expensive, but we had a good meal. We sat at the outdoor bar area and had dinner. The bartender at the time was friendly and made us some good, stiff drinks.
Not that you needed it, but here's a link...
