Gusts probably 35-40 in Chester Co. Rain is very heavy, has been going all day. I've got 3 full Wet Vac loads out of the basement thus far, but it's an ongoing process every 2-3 hours. Will probably continue all night and day tomorrow. My house was built in 1740...not the most enjoyable basement to maintain on these days.

It has gone out is several areas around you and I...notably Delaware Co, PA. It's headed for me right after you, but (knock on wood) we typically have a good history with power outages. That's one benefit of living in one of the few 'normal' houses in a VERY wealthy area. Money does bring 'power'. #hurricanehumor

Twin sons of different mothers! Booze kills pain and I can't feel your pain Bro!
Here in Centre County, storm center should be around Mt. Union, PA @ 8am tomorrow morning. Centre Region has about 2" of rain so far. As the center of Sandy moves closer winds will pick up and rain will diminish a bit.
Weather started deteriorating here about an hour and a half ago and should continue to get worse over night into tomorrow morning. The bloody storm will still be a Tropical storm tomorrow @ 8am and still a hurricane 1 when it hits southeastern PA later tonight.
It's now beginning to comingle with a winter storm low. The beginnings of the creation of the Perfect storm or Frankenstorm as some have called.
This is one massive wench of a storm!
