There was one major reason and it had nothing to do with Delaney or Big Ten. It was the key driver behind closed doors where things like this get talked about. Money/Vegas and the Odds.
The whole OSU scandal came out after the lines were set and a SIGNIFICANT amount money was already put up. If those 5 players would have been suspended the line would have swung immensley. This would have caused the millions of dollars bet early on to be skewed. There was no way they were going to suspend those players after being informed of this.

Screwed? Yes, you beat them. You had a better league record than them. However, you WEREN'T ranked higher than them. The voters liked them better. So, are you blaming someone here? Sounds like you are saying there is a conspiracy theory here. Be careful after all the crap you have posted.
No, Michigan doesn't deserve a BCS bid and neither does the team they are playing in VPI. The ACC isn't good enough to have two teams in there.

Do you think the NCAA cares about Vegas? If that is the reason why they were allowed to play, the NCAA needs to close up shop.

As for the Pitt comment, I laugh. They only have one program worth a crap and that is men's basketball. That would be a big drop off for a program if PSU ever left. Besides, you wouldn't be able to have a hockey conference anymore. Pitt doesn't have hockey. Think about things for a bit.

I like the conference...
I mean we all know that Delaney pulled a great lobbying move by getting the NCAA to allow Pryor to play. But in the end OSU didn't get the victory, it got vacated.
The stuff in 94 I was 6 so I cannot comment on. But it was also 17could years ago and under a different more terrible system.
Idk how much Delaney could do here. He was up against ESPN calling us baby rapers and sponsors not wanting us. And in the end, the money is all the same and we got a better matchup.
As for the MSU fan, yeah you didn't get screwed. You lost the championship game. Idc if you beat them earlier that year, tough luck. And Michigan has better draw. Welcome to capitalism, don't like it get better.
