  • Or whatever your name is. You sir are a douchebag.

Penn State and Illinois game had no athletes in that game? Seriously dude, you don't even have a right to be on tv.

Really, he said that? Well damn, I had really like David both in his career and on tv. He had been really good. We are not the team that Bama or LSU is, no doubt. But that was just dumb.

  • I mean I agree that we don't have the athletes that lsu and bama have. But to single us out? That's BS!

I guess guys like Still, Hodges, Redd, Moye have no talent. Give me a break. And this is the national media.

Keep in mind...the moron is talking about a game where players are playing in 30 degree weather, with wind and snow.

Compared to teams that always play in sunshine and 70+.

Bring those "athletes" into the snow and watch them panzy out real quick.

  • I believe he was talking about athletic quarterbacks.

He IS a former SEC QB and you know how ESPN pushes SEC. Not like we can do anything about it.

Maybe he should teach the Bama kickers how to kick.

You don't understand. SEC-ness transcends minuscule physical limitations such as weather, friction coefficients, gravitational forces, etc. Put them on the moon and they'd still run 4.1 40-yard dashes and every Alabama player would be able to bench 900 pounds 10 times.

SEC athletes don't walk. They just run slowly.

In fact, scientists recently discovered the potential to break the speed of light barrier when they watched an SEC game.

I'm auditioning to be an ESPN commentator, if you couldn't tell. I think I've got the job locked up.

David Pollack played QB and was an All American DE where he was drafted at in the first round (actually played LB for the Bengals)?!

Haha jk bud, but he was a defensive end for Georgia. Sad story on his career too.

He was talking about the defenses... He said it was a defensive game due to all the athletes on D and that is was nothing like the low scoring game featuring PSU and Illinois..

  • So, like posted on another thread-a low scoring SEC game is great but a low scoring B1G game is ugly...unbelievable.

  • That game last night was a HUGE let down.

There were a ton of mistakes. 4 turnovers, Bama was 2/6 on FG's. There were blown coverages. There were blown assignments.

There was 1 fantastic play (the INT by Reid)....other than that, the game was pretty boring and not all that exciting.

Agreed...watching the LSU and ALA QB play last night almost made me feel good about having McGloin behind center.

It's all in the perspective of the people to take it the way they want. Last night's game, as big of a bust as it was, had a tremendous amount of talent on the field. Yes, PSU has talent too, but absent Still, who starts for Bama or LSU? I don't want to take anything away from Hodges, Redd, Hill, et al, but they would be second stringers at best.

I agree with your post. That was the way I took it too.

HUH? I would take Bama's QB without question over McGloin. I would also take Jefferson as well. McGloin would be third string at both of those schools.

Jarret Lee Reminded me so much of MM during that game

Notice, I didn't use Lee in my comments.

That wasn't the case in last nights game though. Nobody showed much of anything outside the one pick. I didn't see much from either team. The fact that pollock picked the Illinois game is even dumber because Scheelhaase sp on either of those teams would cause big time problems for the other D.

I didnt bother using stats to identify how similar they. I think You read my post incorrectly. i never said there statics are similar. Jarred lee was making bad decsions throwing into double coverage and it reminded me a lot of MM decsions he made this year and last year thats why he reminded me of MM. I dont know why you would compare there career stats to prove me wrong.when i was stating his performace for JUST the few series he had.
