This could be labeled under the heading of "Posts from 2008". I always said they did this kid an injustice for his pro prospects by not playing him at Safety. He is not a CB.
It's not really a big deal, to be honest. It didn't hurt him to play CB if he was going to end up as a safety in the pros. Not that difficult of a move, and has been done before. I believe Jairus Byrd, current FS on the Bills was a CB in college at Oregon - was drafted in the 2nd round. There was similar talk about Aaron Williams out of Texas last year - also 2nd round to the Bills.
