Notice most of these kids are SEC kids. A couple talked about cars and women. The rest is pretty uneventful. Now the NCAA is going to pull the limit off of contact with a recruit? I guess Emmert only cares about culture of football at Penn State. Everywhere else its standard business to put football above all else.

The phrase "culture of football" can and will be used against him and the NCAA shortly.

Emmert is an even bigger clown than we give him credit for. He acts like college football is only treated as a big business in State College. When he stops awarding the NC to the highest bidder, having multi-million dollar TV deals, and turning a blind eye to the cash cow schools, he can pretend college football is not big business everywhere. What are the chances that anyone in the NCAA looks into these kids openly stating they were offered cars or money? Um, none.

  • Most impressed by Carl Lawson. Most unnerved by the kid who said a doctor offered him money. Doesn't get more direct than that.

  • I liked how hack seemed to be the most poised and articulate of all of these kids.

  • Hack was great!!! Love the kid that had "twins" on his hip everywhere he went!! Amazing what some schools will do. I wonder if Notre Dame uses "imaginary girls" when they recruit??

  • Yes what a wonderful culture it is for these young men. The first problem though is many of them are being glorified in HS foootball by being broadcast everywhere on TV. It makes sense maybe for local channels to carry local area teams or maybe to have playoffs and state championships broadcast. It was good to hear most of those kids seemed grounded.
