Should have known better.
I hope you're right and he's just having some fun. But why not jab Redd and Brown? Didn't seem like he was joking to me. Admittedly, I am not up to speed with how this generation functions in general, and my kids are too young to start acting out like that. Hope you're right though.
First part perhaps a bit, but second part is indisputable.
I'm the immature one, right.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Morris would have played for plenty of teams in BCS conferences this year.
He probably wouldn't have gotten to play so young if we recruited DBs better than we did, but he turned out to be pretty solid. A 5th round draft grade isn't anything to scoff at for a CFB player.
DISCLAIMER: What you have just read is indeed speculation. I am not a current CFB player and do not know exactly what they do and do not scoff at. TIFWIW. Thank you.

Stephon is a charismatic and energetic trash talker. He likes to think that he's blunt and doesn't hold back when you have conversations with him. Even though he doesn't really hold anything back, he still loves to joke around and make people laugh.
He didn't "clown" on those other guys because he's still close with them. He even said it in his series of tweets, Him, Redd, and Brown are like brothers. The whole thing started out in good fun, then royer got sensitive (which always happens with someone) and that egged Morris to do it more.
When kids these days clown on each other, they do it to get a rise out of their friends. Once someone shows they're bothered by it, they do it even more. Royer and Morris are probably still bragging to their closer friends on how the clowned each other.
Rest of his teammates got a good laugh, even they knew what he was doing, and were calling him a clown. He even made fun of himself for what he was doing, poking fun at how this time he's not going to get yelled at for doing it during an OB press conference.
He's really a class act, and I wouldn't be surprised if stephon ended up in coaching when it's all said and done. He really understands the game, has a huge passion for it, and is a natural teacher. Don't be surprised if he and roman continue to pipeline their guys up to PSU.
And in today's news in regards to Internet humor........

Morris' tweet today in response to falling two votes short of an invite to the NFL combine:
Stephon Morris Stephon Morris @12S_Morris
I don't see it as adversity, I see it as another opportunity to challenge myself and go take something I've always dreamed about.
Now that is one Good Burger!!
One of the high school boys I work with sent it to me. I couldn't help but share.
From what i know about morris and the heart and fight he has shown, if i saw him fighting a bear i would pray for the bear.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
