ESPN put the fix on cuz they'd be "embarassed" if Penn State won. ESPN sux!
October 12, 2013. PSU 43 - UM 40 (4 OT). Unfortunately this fan wasn't around long enough to see it!
Idaho had 25 votes at around noon.
At 2:45 they had 53,000
More likely that the site was hacked. Someone is running a script or program to boost votes and probably just changes the team once they get a certain # logged in... If ESPN cared to look, they could probably trace them back to the same IP address.
"Penn State has taken a lot of punches in the last six months and it's time to punch back" - BOB
The pattern is whenever a team is below PSU, the vote counts will go up however many to pass PSU and then stop and move on down to the next team at the bottom. Either hacked or ESPN, most likely hacked with the a script running like ehoffman said. Old Dominion is running it up now.

"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
Its says Penn State is at 46,220... I think we were over 47,000 when I last voted...
I clicked the "report a bug" link and told them they've been hacked and someone's "stuffing the ballot box". If encouraged them to the check the IP address of where all these recent votes are coming from. If they hear it enough, maybe just maybe they'll actually check.
This is such bull. That victory was ours, and someone was pissed about it. espn should still declare us the winner, we were up by 20000 or so at the first hacking.
The good old Wayne State Warriors somehow have 55,000 votes.

Hearing that ESPN is now aware. 'PSU' complained. Not sure what the remedy is. Please stand by.
Nebraska has 80,000 now lol.
Not that it would do any good.... I just sent a nasty email to ESPN for their unexplainable voting results.
What we need to do is have our entire Student Body vote every day until this is over. Anyone know how we can do this?
Espn has a culture problem, maybe NCAA should sanction them
The Nebraska Cornhackers are at it again.
S**w the Nebraska Cornholes, we are no.1, no doubt in my mind! Their mascot sucks compared to ours and that is a fact! Their maskot is a ficking Bob's big boyyy! Ours is original, and loved by millions. If our masckot ran for president I would vote for himmm!
I have one upvote left, and I am not afraid to use it!!!
All I can say is wow.. Maine black bears at 78 thousand. That school can't have 78000 people rooting for them...
Ill ask again... Can someone hack this for us? Computer science grads. Let's go...
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Don't bother. That's just like an escalating arms race where there won't be any winner. Just hope ESPN can sort it out and disqualify all the bogus votes.
What a joke....I just reported a bug too, someone scripted something to add votes. I actually LOL when seeing the list above PSU....Another fine example of ESPN sucking. I'll still keep voting just in case they can sort this mess out.
Ole Miss Rebels 89641
Nebraska Cornhuskers 80691
Oregon State Beavers 79354
Wisconsin Badgers 78239
Maine Black Bears 77224

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 75815
Temple Owls 74760
Idaho Vandals 73972
North Dakota State Bison 73502
Grambling State Tigers 72828
Fresno State Bulldogs 66311
Ohio State Buckeyes 63502
Rice Owls 61893
UAB Blazers 60991
McNeese State Cowboys 59022
St. Bonaventure Bonnies 58539
Delaware Blue Hens 56982
Old Dominion Monarchs 56667
Wayne State Warriors 55720
North Dakota Fighting Sioux 55327
LSU Tigers 50340
Penn State Nittany Lions 48042
It's not hard to figure out. Idaho had 25 votes at 9:45 yesterday morning. By noon they had 50k.
Also at one point PSU had 44k and the rest of the big ten COMBINED had under 10k

From Ben Jones twitter:
RT @ESPN_FanCentral: We are aware of contest irregularities and are looking into it.
The site now reads "Due to inauthentic activity, pledging to support your favorite school has been suspended. We are looking into this issue and will respond as soon as we have an update"
And for those who thought ESPN was trying to screw PSU, I think if ESPN were doing so, they would be way more subtle.
More than just football
Maybe they screwed up like the guys in "Office Space."
They set up a program to add thousands of votes a day to other schools, but screwed up a decimal point and their diabolical plan was outed.

Lol, no choice now but to burn it all down.
It looks like an outside company runs this contest according to their "statement" @collegecolors.
I wouldnt think it would be too hard to go back to when this hack took place and wipe out all votes and start from where we were (which was us up by ~20,000 legitimate votes).
