I live in Nothern VA, and would do anything to live out west. The fact that you're going to both JIB and In and Out makes me want to go back out there even more. I'm jealous. Eat well and eat often.
As for FIVE guys, nothing beats the original restaurants in Alexandria and Springfield. They actually have different types of frieds available that they test out down there before they mainstream it to the rest of the chain. I remember going there when I was a kid before it evolved into a huge franchise. Now that they are franchised, its more expensive, and hit or miss depending on how the franchisee is running it. I love all those places though.
That's one awesome brewery. The nice thing about the cold weather there though is that its dry and cold. It doesn't bite as much or chill you down to your bones, especially when the sun is shining high and bright.
It was -10 every night we were there, so that was pretty miserable. It wasn't too bad up on the mountain though, because the sun was always out, around 12 degrees then.
Great brewery though, good food too.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Also there are a couple good breweries in Baltimore, I know some of you guys live out that way, but dont remember who. If you get the chance, check out The Brewer's Art and Union Craft Brewing. Those places are awesome and have some really good, affordable brews.
Holy cow, that sucks, I was there during a blizzard, and the lowest it got was 14 degrees, but it felt like what a windy 40 degree day felt like in SC.
Five Guys >>> In-N-Out but a medium rare burger fresh off the backyard grillbeats any fast food place...if you know what you're doing.
Getting back to Issah, I think a lot of people are being hypocritical. If he was committed to ANY other school or if he wasn't a talented athlete period, no-one would be defending him or his actions. No-one would be "waiting for the whole story" even after the kid admitted his guilt. I don't know what BOB will (or should) do, but if he is treated any differently because of our team's depth issues, that, IMO, is the epitome of a "cultural problem".
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Actually played in a band (another lifetime ago it seems) that had a Yang sponsorship of sorts.
Leaving SC the day after a Crow Bar show I stopped at a bar on the outskirts of town and paid 12 bucks for a six of lager! The guy told me it was an import! Still kind of chuckling over that one.
Couldn't agree more. +1
Oh, I will. Since it's Easter on Sunday, my grandma is having the family over for food pretty much as soon as I land, so I won't waste any time getting my fill of food I can't get out here. There aren't exactly a ton of Filipino restaurants on the East coast.
Haven't been to in-n-out burger. I did have Smash Burger for the first time and I have to say I thought it was right up there with Five Guys.
Oh and on Issah...this^. I am waiting till after May 9 (I hear that is a preliminary trial date?) to make my full decision on what happened. However, it doesn't look good and in NO way should PSU consider its own situation on whether to keep him or not. It only should be done if the evidence is less damaging than what is currently out there.

1). Agree with psujmc, if Zayd was an OSU commit he would be a thug and Urban would be a slim ball for not having pulled his scholly yet.
2) jack in the box is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever had
3) five guys is a better burger than in n out. But in n out is damn tasty and animal fries are the cats ass. Smash burger and fat burger are solid too.

BacardiBuckeye: "But in all honesty I like Penn State, I want to see Penn State do good that's why I check this board everyday." 4/2/14
Well thats not a very well thought out plan by Mr. Issah...If we would have purchased a cheeseburger he could have received $19.06 in "clean" money after tax. Use your head next time Zayd!!!! You left $4.06 out of your maximized profit!!
There are a lot of places these days where I finish my food and think, "boy, that was a rip off," (either because of quality or quantity) but Five Guys ain't one of them.
Interesting that you (and apparently more than just you) feel that way.
Haha I think we're opposites.
I think Five Guys burgers are pretty decent to good, but I think their fries are out of this world. Love the skin-on boardwalk style, but crispier and done in peanut oil. Dang. Near perfect frie, IMO.
I also like Smashburger. Though, now that I think about it, the only burger I've ever gotten there is the "Colorado Burger," and maybe they don't sell that everywhere. LOL
And since we are on the topic of Burgers. Next time anyone is in Vegas, hit up Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay, BLT at Mirage, Holsteins at Comsopolitan or LBS at Red Rock. MMM MMMM MMMM GOOD!!!
Damn, now im hungry.
Mike Vick actually did time for his crime. Thus his "second chance".
The rest I pretty much agree with. I'd add though he is heading down the wrong path. He has to wake up now. Hopefully a change of scenery will do help, hopefully.
They dont. They have a different regional burger wherever you go. I think its based on state.
I think you mean $18.94.
LOOOOVE me some Breckenridge "Avalanche"!!! Very jealous.
That is my name on their tops and no one can tell me any different!!!!
I thought a Mc D's cheeseburger was 89 cents?
Anyone try American Roadside Burger? It's a very small chain in NC, SC and my hometown of Smithtown, NY. Only been there once the last time I visited my mom but it was pretty darn good. They have grilled jalapeño's instead of fresh ones like Five Guys. It really put it over the top.
Bobby's (Flay) Burger Palace is a more (marginally) upscale burger place that is excellent also. It started at the mall near my hometown as well.

The chorizo breakfast burrito is extremely good though.
