IMO everyone can leave if they want, besides Hack and Brenneman. If those two hold out and stay at PSU that will be the biggest WIN.
Sadly for the next 2-3 years, recruiting is gonna be akin to salmon swimming up stream. We'll get some wins here and there, but it is going to be a really tough sell. It's not being a doom and gloomer to say we will struggle to get and keep recruits for the forseable future. I'm even afraid we'll see another wave of players leave after this season since they have until next year to leave w/o penalty. It won't be the staff's fault, just our new reality.
Disagree. Everyone knows the deal at Penn State at this point. Any kid that commits will really want to come. IMo, any kid with the intestinal fortitude to commit from this point forward will stick.
That being said, it will be a tough sell except for those who REALLY love Penn State unlike some of the guys who talked the talk.

“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Any kid with half a Fu#@in brain should want to play with Hackenberg!! This is another poor dumb ass decision!!!
Glad to see his 100% re-committment to PSU lasted, what five days? What a joke this kid is.
When does the disingenuous statement come out?
Kelly will be on EF PSU commit. He needs to be punished.
I don't like holding high school kids too accountable for their decisions as many of them are poor and impulsive.... but I absolutely agree here. High school seniors should be mature enough to know not to say "100% re-committed" then do this. That's bush league.
How many recruits has ND taken from us these last few years? Like seriously get your own recruits.
Until they sign their letter of intent it is still called RECRUITING. Game on bob. Here we go.
The fine high school football that is played in Pennsylvania will certainly help PSU through the tough times. Kids that grow up dreaming of playing at PSU will still commit regardless of the sanctions....PSU will mean that much to them. The problem will obviously be OOS recruits. That's going to be the difficult sell. The other problem is wiith the reductions you just cannot afford to miss on recruits over the next 4 or 5 years. If you can only take 15 and 5 don't pan out that's a real problem down the road.
